Sian here, founder of The Youth Fairy, which initially started out as my private therapy practice in East Sussex, offering a range of approaches including Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, Coaching and NLP.

After successfully growing The Youth Fairy locally, where I work with 30 young people a week and deliver wellbeing programmes in schools, it was easy to conclude there are just not enough hours in my day to help everybody who really needs it.  With enquires coming from all over the country and parents sometimes travelling many miles for their kids to work with me, I made the necessary (and super exciting) decision to grow the team.

Becoming a Youth Fairy gives you the opportunity to run your own private practice working with children, teenagers and their parents in your local area but also be part of team who regularly collaborate and support each other.

And, because the brand is already established and your marketing resources and therapeutic programmes are ready and waiting for you to use (including Strive for Schools), you will be able to hit the ground running and spend more time working with your clients, rather than having to build a business from scratch!

Whether facilitating one to one therapy or group programmes, The Youth Fairy uses modern, well researched approaches to positive change, that are underpinned by an up-to-date understanding of neuroscience in relation to well-being. Part of the therapeutic process involves equipping young people with this knowledge (in an easy to digest way) which helps them to understand what they can do more or less of in the future to create more mentally healthy behaviours. This is not only an essential part of the therapeutic process but also gives you, as a practitioner, a wealth of knowledge and resources to pull from when facilitating workshops and talks in the community.

Benefits of being a Youth Fairy include

  • Train in a rewarding career working with children & teens
  • Run your own therapy business & also be part of a team
  • Join an established brand with full training provided
  • Supervision, mentoring & ongoing support
  • All programme resources including Strive for Schools
  • Personalised website page
  • Daily social media content & scheduling
  • Continual Professional Development
  • Annual Youth Fairy Retreat

I also passionately believe that professional development, a strong support network and sense of personal achievement and growth will be essential for my Fairies to have absolute confidence in themselves as practitioners, feel extremely valued and have the opportunity to be part of creating something bigger that benefits the team and reaches more young people.

With this in mind all Youth Fairies will have access to Continual Professional Development, regular team meetings (including an annual retreat) and the opportunity to create and develop new programmes and resources to expand the business further if they wish.
